Brazilian Wax in Toronto West
A Brazilian wax removes all pubic hair — front, back, and everything in between — for smooth skin that lasts 4 to 6 weeks. At WaxMe Studio, we use Bushbalm hard wax, a Canadian-made formula that grips the hair, not the skin, for a cleaner and more comfortable experience than traditional strip wax.
Whether it's your first time or you're a regular, you can expect a calm, professional environment and a result you'll actually love.
What Is a Brazilian Wax?
A Brazilian wax removes all hair from the pubic area, including the front, labia, and backside. You can choose a full removal or leave a small strip — it's your preference. The appointment takes 30 to 45 minutes, and results last 4 to 6 weeks with regular maintenance.
How to Prepare for your Wax Session?
Let hair grow to at least 1/4 inch (about the size of a grain of rice) before your appointment
Gently exfoliate 24 hours before — this helps the wax grip the hair cleanly
Arrive with clean, dry skin; skip lotions, oils, and active skincare products on the area
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment
Why Hard Wax?
Most studios use strip (soft) wax for Brazilian services. We don't. Hard wax wraps around each hair and releases cleanly from the skin, making it significantly gentler on sensitive areas. It's also better at catching short, coarse hairs — meaning fewer missed spots and less need for re-application.
We use Bushbalm Wax, made in Canada and formulated for sensitive skin. It's the same quality you'd find at a high-end spa.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
We know the first time can feel nerve-wracking. Here's what actually happens:
You'll be welcomed, your esthetician will walk you through the process and ask about your preferences
The area is cleaned and prepped before wax is applied
Hard wax is applied in sections and removed by hand — no strips needed
A soothing oil is applied to calm the skin after
Most clients describe the sensation as a sharp sting that fades within seconds. By your second or third appointment, your skin adjusts and the experience gets noticeably easier.
Aftercare
The 24 hours after your wax matter. Here's what to do:
Change into clean, breathable cotton immediately after
Skip the gym, hot tubs, and any activity that causes friction or heavy sweating for the rest of the day
Avoid scented products, retinols, and AHAs/BHAs on the waxed area for 48 hours
Start gentle exfoliation 48–72 hours after to prevent ingrown hairs
Apply your Bushbalm ingrown hair oil (we can provide you with a sample)
How Often Should You Get a Brazilian Wax?
We recommend every 4 weeks for maintenance. Regular clients notice hair grows back finer and sparser over time, and the discomfort decreases with each visit. The more consistent you are, the easier it gets.
